Energy issues are of great importance to Dalarna with our energy-intensive industrial processes and with a large transport-dependent. Dalarna region interacts with other elements of a strategic work for a healthy environment and energy efficiency.
Regional cooperation council of Dalarna integrate environmental issues into strategies and action plans. We finance projects that will help businesses to be climate-and environmentally-smart in the context of strengthening competitiveness and reducing costs. Through our involvement in the Energy Office GDE operated in conjunction with Region Gävleborg broadened our involvement further.
