TRUST Hedmark-Dalarna
Project TRUST Dalarna-Hedmark is a cooperationproject between Hedmark fylkeskommunen, Fylkesmannen in Hedmark, Region Dalarna and County Administrative council of Dalarna. The project will run between November 2008 and October 2011 and is co-funded by Interreg 4A Sweden-Norway.
The goal of the collaboration project is to develop a good cooperation across national and county border between the municipalities, businesses and organizations to profile and strengthen border region's attractiveness and competitiveness and to increase co-operation across the county border.
Three target areas are defined:
1. Develop and establish cooperative arenas for strengthening innovation in the region
2. Profile and strengthen the region's strengths
3. Develop methods and models for strengthening of interregional cooperation
To achieve these objectives, the project has various project components:
• Tenke Tank Development, analysis and monitoring.
• Thematic seminars. The first thematic seminar will take place November 11, 2009 in Salen.
• Contact Fair. A dedicated website will open soon for registration, applications and information: www.kontakthedmark-dalarna.com. The first contact the fair implementation of Trysil, 23-24 November 2009.
• Networks and clusters.
• Learning from each other, learn together: cooperation between municipalities in Hedmark and Dalarna.
• Hospitering / traineeship exchange.
• Studietur. The first study trip was to Haparanda-Tornio, where we studied the cross-border cooperation.
