Dalarna have large litters departure from secondary schools in the coming years, while labor market is difficult to penetrate. Therefore, there is the project to Young to work which aims to support municipalities in their work for the young people.
During the spring of 2009 started the project, Regional cooperation council of Dalarna Young to work. The project's target audience is primarily young people leaving secondary school.

The project young to work - W18-24 has granted aids, 17,6 millions from EU in 3 years, 2010-2012. Regional cooperation council of Dalarna are project owners and the municipalities and the employment offices is partners in the project.
The aim with the project
The project W18-24 aims to supporting the municipalities in their work with unemployed young in the age of 18-24 years. The municipalities will implement a programme where the young can get support and help to arrange a job, or continue to study in a higher education. The young will be given a possibility to prepare an own action plan, find a practical vocational training place and few an aid of a course conductor meanwhile. Concurrent comes a development work, that sets the young people in focus, to be carried out in order to develop a regional mock-up with increased collaboration average different authorities.
The education for the tutors in the project w18-24 started January 20-21 in Borlänge, for the tutors that will lead the programme in the municipalities. The teachers will meet regular during the project.
