You are an important part to make Dalarna evolve, grow, and be a dynamic region.
Your thoughts and ideas are valuable, because you are young right here and now in Dalarna.Your knowledge and your experiences are unique and important both locally and regionally.
Giving young people influence, are high priority in Dalarna.
Regionally you can find the project Ung kraft, and in our municipalitys there are a big interest in creating new ways to communicate wíth you, the young people. For example, today there are 10 youth councils in ten of our fifteen municipalitys.
Due to an investigation that was made by the Swedish youth council in the spring 2009, Dalarna was the region in Sweden that had the most forums for youth influence. That dosen´t say that we are the best, but it is sure an indikation that we pay attention to our youths, and that we find them important.
Ung kraft- A investment for more influence
The aim of this project is to pay more attention to youth and incerase there influence.
We work close to a network that is called Dalanätverket för ungdomssamordning ( Dalarna network of youthcoordination) This network is represented by youthcoordinators and people from all municipalitys of Dalarna.
Together with this network we work with different kinds of efforts for the young people. Among other things regional meetings for the youthcouncils, common educations for politicans and employees, educations for fritidsledare, inspiration meetings, cooperation around youthevents,
financing for the PengaAkutenprojekt, and also we have a common site, dalakoll.se.
In the swedish youth politics, it is siad that all youths between 13-25 years should have access to welfare, and a real access to influence.
These four statements are very important;

• Youths have rights
• The independence of the youth should be supported
• Youths are different
These statements are corresponding very well with our statements in Ung kraft.
