Regional cooperation council of Dalarna is responsible for regional planning of roads, railways, aviation and public transportation.
Regional cooperation council of Dalarna interact continuously with the transport agencies, authorities, organizations and businesses around the long-term national and regional planning efforts in road, rail, air and public transport.
For the growth and survival we need to create a nearness to the international and the national market and meet the bussienss need for large transport. Because of this we run and contribute in different project, both inside and outside the county, to help Dalarna to get modern and sustainable roads and railways.
Action Planning for 2010-2021 underway
To change a transportation takes time and long-term plans must overlap in order to continuously be able to start the investment. Right now revised the provincial transport plan for the period 2004-2015. The next plan should contain measures for 2010-2021.
