The regional skoldatatek aimed primarily at those responsible in the municipalities for pupils with special needs with a focus on ADHD problems, and in particular students with reading and writing difficulties and dyslexia, and school personnel who teach students with special needs within the council audience. Municipalities, in cooperation
Avesta, Hedemora, Säter, Smedjebacken, Ludvika, Gagnef, Leksand, Rättvik, Mora, Orsa and Malung have chosen to be part of a collaboration within the skoldatatek as described below:
- Working in close cooperation with each other and the county council's activities in the mentioned area.
- Work so that local resource persons will be a knowledge asset for another. Securing excellence and coverage of news, research and development.
- Develop skills on compensatory IT tools in school associate professionals oak.
- Drive support network.
- Giving advice, primarily to the local contact persons.
- Develop methods and procedures on IT.
- Part of the county's Resource Center for Communication and Cognition (RKK) provides knowledge and synergies.
- Create relationships with computer companies, materials producers and development companies.
- Provide professional development for contact persons, teachers, special teachers and special education teachers.
- Jointly fund a coordinator who manages the operation.
